Alzheimers and Dementia Test

The Alzheimer’s Dementia Corporate Awareness Campaign.

Alzheimer’s Dementia is an advanced disease that is caused by brain cell death. It causes impairment gradually, and reduces cognition.

There are approximately 300,000 people in Australia that suffer from some form of Dementia. Although the cause is unknown it is believed that many lifestyle and environment factors may contribute to this disease.

A 10 – 25% reduction in risk factors can potentially prevent as many as 1-3 million cases worldwide.

Our campaign aims to increase the knowledge and understanding of the factors that might significantly decrease the risk of the disease development.

We do this by getting each participant to complete our online Health & Lifestyle questionnaire. This is followed by a face-to-face session with one of our specialist nurses to undertake a simple and efficient physical assessment.

An individual report is then provided to each participant with information and advice to how they can reduce their risk of Alzheimer’s Dementia.
